Sorter/Image Compatibility.  ProofPC32 supports a wide variety of sorters and capture devices manufactured by companies such as Canon, NCR, BancTec, IBM, Panini, Unisys, Digital Check, and Miru.  These devices provide solutions for banks or branches processing from 200 to 100,000 or more items per day.  Images captured by these sorters are fully integrated into the functionality of ProofPC32, and grayscale or TIFF images are processed automatically.  Built-in transfer functions provide for formatting and transferring data to core banking applications and image systems.  C&A's ImageChex32 for full-scale image processing and ImageChex Express for basic inquiry and image research provide long-term solutions for images captured by ProofPC32.  Of course, ProofPC32 can also be used in non-image environments.  This provides a complete migration path because moving to an image environment requires only the additional of an image camera to the sorter (no software changes required).

Operating Environment.  Sorter controller PC requires Microsoft Windows (2000 Professional or XP) or higher, and Internet Explorer 5 or higher.  User/client workstations require 32-bit Windows (95, 98, NT,  2000, or XP) and Internet Explorer 5 or higher.
